Summary

Bram's Reading App is designed to work offline and keep your reading data on your device. We do not sell your data, we do not use third‑party analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not run our own servers to store your content.

Data You Provide

The app stores the information you choose to add, including:

  • Books, authors, and progress
  • Questions and annotations
  • Annotation images and captions
  • Reading sessions and related metadata

This data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s on‑device storage.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not share your personal data with third parties.

The only network requests made by the app are to download optional sample book cover images when you choose to add sample data during onboarding. Those images are fetched from third‑party image hosts. No personal data is sent in those requests.

The app also contains links to external websites. Opening those links is optional and subject to the privacy policies of those sites.

App Extensions

Bram’s Reading App includes a Share Extension and widgets. These extensions access your local reading data through Apple’s App Group storage so you can save annotations and view selected books. This data is still stored on your device.

Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

  • No analytics SDKs
  • No advertising SDKs
  • No tracking across apps or websites

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data remains on your device until you delete it within the app or remove the app from your device. Deleting the app removes its local data.

Children’s Privacy

This app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If the app’s data practices change, this policy will be updated and the effective date will be revised.
